Description

COMBINED SYNOPSIS PURCHASE OF SERVICE TO FURNISH MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT AND LABOR TO INSTALL ELECTICAL COMPONENTS FOR THE EDUCATION CENTER AT MALMSTROM AFB, MONTANA (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written quotes (oral quotes will not be accepted) on RFQ reference number FB462642650021. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24. (iv) This procurement is being issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238210 with a small business size standard not to exceed $12,000,000.00. (v) This combined synopsis and solicitation is for the purchase of a service to furnish all labor, equipment, tools, accessories and materials to provide a non-personal service to install electrical components at the Education Center located at Malmstrom AFB, Montana with the following requirements: (vi) a)- Furnish and install 1 ? 225a 3p breaker for existing MDP and 1 ? 225a 42-circuit panel with built in surge protection. b)- Furnish and install all branch and wire mold to/in rooms 101, 102 and 103. c)- Furnish and install new branch circuits and outlets to rooms 108 (4-duplexes) and room 109 (5-duplexes). d)- Furnish and install CAT5e plenum rated cable hung with D-rings for desk jacks in rooms 101, 102 and 103. (All cabling will be tested and certified). e)- Furnish and install 1- standing rack, 2- patch panels and testing of cables installed. f)- Furnish and install 21 computer jacks in room 104, 20 jacks in room 108 and 1 each jack in rooms 105, 106 and 107. (Includes cabling back to new rack). g)- Prospective vendors will be required to visit worksite to clarify requirements at their own expense. (vii) Delivery requested no later than 01 December 2004. FOB destination, 341 MSS/DPHS, 4th Av N., Bldg. 1240 Malmstrom AFB, MT 59402-6865. (viii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (ix) Quotes will be evaluated on price, price related factors and ability to meet specifications. (x) The offeror must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items. (xi) The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Specifically, the following clauses cited are applicable: DFARS 252.212- 7001 Contract Terms and Conditions; 252.225-7016, Restriction on Acquisition of Ball and Roller Bearings, Alternate I; 252.232-7003, Electronic Submission of Payment Requests. (xiv) The clauses at FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration (Oct 2003) and DFARS 252.204-7004, Alternate A (Nov 2003) apply to this acquisition. (xv) All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), http://www.ccr.gov/. The Government reserves the right to award on a multiple award or an all or none basis. (xvi) Quotes are required to be received no later than 11:00 PM MST, Monday, 18 October 2004.
