Description
This solicitation will be made available for download from the FedBizOpps (check one): X YES Text: The Marine Operations Center ? Pacific intends to awards for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract to perform miscellaneous shipboard voyage dockside repairs and possible drydock repairs for various NOAA ships in the Ketchikan, AK area. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, all types of dockside voyage repairs typically required for ships during short in ports. Work will require all shipyard repair skills and trades including general labor, journeyman, and foremen/ship superintendent. Overtime may be required to meet quick reaction repair requirements. Estimated level of effort by the Contractor will not exceed 6,000 hours of straight time and 1,000 hours of overtime per year, plus materials. The term of the contract will be for one base year with three additional option years available. A request for proposals will be issued on or about 28 October, 2004. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. All responsible, responsive offers will be considered. The NAICS code for this procurement is 336611 and the size standard is 1,000 employees.
