- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution, Ray Brook, New York. Services to be provided include inpatient/outpatient facility services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements with firm fixed unit prices. The contract shall consist of a 12 month base period and four 12 month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the base period and each option are as follows: Base Year - 60 inpatient days and 400 outpatient visits; Option Year 1 - 60 inpatient days and 400 outpatient visits; Option Year 2 - 60 inpatient days and 400 outpatient visits; Option Year 3 - 60 inpatient days and 400 outpatient visits; Option Year 4 - 60 inpatient days and 400 outpatient visits. The solicitation will be made available on or about February 18, 2004 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration’s Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is on or about April 2,2004. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
