- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. NUWC Division Newport intends to solicit proposals for the production of CW-1181 Domes. NUWC anticipates a five year, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Firm Fixed Price (FFP) supply contract for a maximum of 200 units. First Article Test and Approval is required unless waived. Previous contract was a three year IDIQ, contract number N66604-00-D-5999, with Globe Rubber Works in Rockland, MA. Award will be made on the basis of ?Best Value?. Technical evaluation criteria are technical approach and past performance. We intend to provide a mold as Government Furnished Property to the winning contractor, which can be used to manufacture the CW-1181 Domes. This solicitation will be 100% Set Aside for Small Business. NAICS Code is 326299; size standard is 500 employees. Offerors will need to request the unclassified procurement specification and drawing package. The solicitation is expected to be released on or about 08/25/2004.
