- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) intends to issue a firm fixed price order on a sole-source basis in support of a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirement. The order will be placed with Northrup Grumman Corporation (NGC), 1 Hornet Way, El Segundo, CA 90245 under Basic Order Agreement (BOA) N00383-03-G-006D. This order will provide approximately 36 Rudders in support of the Canadian CF-18 Aircraft Life Extension (ALEX) Project. NGC is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of these specialized componets and is the only known source possessing the unique knowledge, expertise, tooling, and technical data necessary to complete the required effort.
