- HQ AMC/A34YR anticipates issuing an RFP on or about 1 Feb 05 for Air Terminal and Ground Handling Services for Air Mobility Command at Eielson AFB, AK. The contractor shall act as an AMC liaison and provide technical support, personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, materials and other items and services. The contractor shall work all United States Government owned or operated aircraft and US sponsored foreign government aircraft requiring ground handling services, facilitate on-time aircraft departures, and load and unload cargo from government owned or contracted conveyances. The period of performance is 1 Oct 05 through 30 Sep 06 with four one-year option periods. A preproposal conference is tentatively scheduled for 3 Mar 05. More information will be provided as it becomes available. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Numbered Note 1 applies to this acquisition.
