- Trail restoration of the Calf Segment of the North Umpqua Trail System on the North Umpqua Ranger District 45-50 miles east of Roseburg, OR; Work includes clearing, trailbed and slope restoration and finishing, retaining structures, gabion walls, stream crossings, damaged trail bridge removals, construction of three new glue-laminated stringer trail bridges and related recreation trail repair activities; Work is limited to the period between mid July and mid-March with additional limitations related to blasting and aircraft use; Work is to be completed by March 15, 2006; This is a Request For Quotes; in addition to prices Quoters are required to complete a Questionnaire related to technical capability and past performance history; Award evaluation criteria include technical capability, planned scheduling, technical approach for bridge construction, planned safety measures, plans for subcontracting, plans for enhancement of local employment, and past performance history in addition to price; Award may be made without discussions; The project magnitude is in the range between $25,000 and $100,000; Hard copies of this solicitation and the associated drawings are not available.
