Description

The National Business Center has a requirement for off-site tape storage in the Denver, CO area. The award will be made for the period from approximately 11/01/04 through 09/30/05 with a two possible option periods ending on 09/30/07. The following services are required: Transportation - five day week service Open media slots Transport container Closed containers Rolling cart storage Library maintenance Concerns having the ability to furnish this service shall provide written notice including a telephone number for a Point of Contact (POC), to the Acquisition office listed above NO LATER THAN 4:00 P.M. MOUNTAIN TIME OCTOBER 12, 2004. This information will be evaluated and used to determine if competitive opportunities exist. Since no solicitation document exists, requests for such documents without accompanying information will be considered non-responsive to this request without further consideration. This notice may represent the Government's only official notice of this procurement. All sources responding to this synopsis shall submit information relating to their business status, including identification as to whether small, large, minority-owned, woman-owned, or 8(a) certified. NAICS code is 493190. A firm is considered small for this acquisition if its size standard does not exceed $21.5 million. Based on information at this time, the government believes this service is available from only one vendor in the Denver, CO area, however, if there are other vendors offering this service in the Denver, CO metro area, this will become a competitive procurement.
