- Primary Point of Contact for this project is Arthur G. Tuttlebee, Contract Specialist, 817-886-1057. Project includes upgrading and expanding the north parking apron and creation of a new taxiway and staging area. The project includes a taxiway fro m the north ramp extending to runway 18/36 and crossing taxiway B. Some of the supporting facilities include access roads (Oliver Drive), ramp area lighting, taxiway and ramp edge lighting, water, storm-drainage and site improvements. The project include s the demolition of three buildings, a wash rack, hardstand, and fire-training pit. Contractors will be required to meet minimum experience and capability requirements. The total construction contract amount is estimated to be between $10,000,000.00 and $ 25,000,000.00. Contract award will be made using Best Value Evaluation. The solicitation is tentatively scheduled to issue on or about 19 October 2004, and offers will be due on or about 18 November 2004. The North American Industrial Classification Syst em (NAICS) code applicable to this project is 237310, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction. Small Business Standard is $28.5 million. This is an UNRESTRICTED solicitation. Offers from all responsible sources will be considered. If a large business inte nds to submit a bid, it must comply with FAR clause 52.219-9, regarding the requirement for a subcontracting plan. The Fort Worth District government contract award.
