- This synopsis is to announce our intent to modify the current catering services contract (F04693-00-H-0002). The current requirement, to provide event planning and catering services, is performed in the Community Center located on Fort MacArthur in San Pedro, CA. The proposed action will incorporate the operation and management of the Consolidated Officer and Enlisted Club located on Los Angeles AFB, El Segundo, CA. The requirement is for a food service operation and event catering. The food service operation requires serving daily breakfast and lunch meals. The event catering operation requires planning, scheduling and conducting various events to include weddings, retirements, promotions etc. The proposed addition will be incorporated into the contract immediately prior to the exercise of the fourth and final option period, scheduled for 20 Dec 2004. The final option period will run from 20 Dec 2004 through 19 Dec 2005. The entire requirement (operation and management of Consolidated Club and Community Center) will be solicited on a full and open basis or on a full and open after exclusion of sources basis. The requirement will be posted on the EPS in early spring 2005, with award anticipated not later than November 2005. This synopsis will not result in the issuance of a solicitation and is not an invitation to submit bids, proposals, or quotations. Opposition to this action should be submitted, in writing, not later than close of business on 5 November 2004.
