REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST ? 2000 SQUARE FOOT LEASE FACILITY IN IDAHO FALLS, ID I. INTRODUCTION Bechtel, BWXT Idaho, LLC (BBWI) Management & Operating Contractor of the Idaho National Engineering and Environmental Laboratory (INEEL), is requesting an Expression of Interest (EOI) from property owners to provide lease space for the purpose of housing equipment and personnel in connection with the Radiologial Assistance Program (RAP) Program II. BACKGROUND The INEEL is a Department of Energy (DOE) National Laboratory located approximately 50 miles from Idaho Falls, Idaho and is comprised of several facilities located outside of town and in the City of Idaho Falls, including nuclear research and development laboratories and treatment, storage and disposal facilities, research and administrative facilities. III. FACILITY REQUIREMENTS 2,000 square feet Three phone and computer connections Secure environment (alarms, locking safes, locks, access to RAP personnel only) Restrooms Office space for 2-3- individuals Inside parking, if possible Liquid nitrogen compatible Air conditioning/heat Proximity close to DOE campus (Science Center Drive, Idaho Falls, ID) or IRC Facility (North Anderson Street, Idaho Falls, ID) 1-2 year fixed term lease with option to extend IV. SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS Qualified respondents must provide two printed copies of the following information: company name, address, point of contact, email, phone/fax numbers, and a concise summary report that describes the available facility of the respondent. Respondents who provide insufficient information will not be considered further. This EOI is totally separate from all other solicitations involving property rental requests for the RAP Program.
