- Description
- The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, and labor necessary to maintain and repair government-owned appliances such as food-service kitchen equipment, washers, dryers, refrigerators, microwave ovens, ice machines, and electric ranges at Eielson AFB. The contractor shall furnish all parts, paints, lubricants, and cleaning supplies to service and maintain each appliance. The contractor shall provide replacement appliances when required. Service, maintenance, and repair tasks shall be in accordance with the procedures recommended by the respective appliance manufacturer. A periodic maintenance schedule shall be developed before the start of the contract on Eielson AFB, AK. This will be a firm-fixed price service-type solicitation/contract following commercial practices. The performance period is one (1) base year with four (4) option years. Multiple awards for this requirement will not be made. The proposed procurement is full and open competition to all interested contractors. NO CORRECTIONS AND/OR CHANGES ARE ALLOWED AFTER TIME OF SUBMISSION OF PROPOSAL. Furthermore, this will be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) competitive commercial contract. In addition, all parties must follow guidelines set forth in Air Force Instruction (AFI) 63-124, Performance-Based Service Contracts. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 811412 with a small business size standard of $6 million and Federal Stock Class (FSC) of J0. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 16 August 2004 on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) at www.eps.gov. Paper copies are not available. You must register on that site in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. You will need the viewers for Microsoft Word (.doc), Acrobat Reader (.pdf), and Source View (.svd) to be able to view the solicitation documents. These viewers can be downloaded off of the EPS website. Please submit any question regarding the solicitation in writing at the site visit. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (29-JUL-2004).
