Description

The Hazardous Material and Waste Management Division (HMWMD) of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) is soliciting written proposals for operation and maintenance services at the Summitville Mine Superfund Site located in the San Juan Mountains of southwest Colorado. Task areas include (1) Water Treatment Plant operations (2) on-site monitoring and (3) WTP and general site maintenance. CDPHE anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price contract with a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. The estimated start and completion dates for this procurement are February 2005 to February 2010. The solicitation for this requirement will be posted on the State of Colorado Bids Information Distribution System (BIDS) on or around September 29, 2004. Interested parties who plan to submit a proposal must be registered with the BIDS no later than the date and time of the proposal deadline on October 27, 2004 at 3:00 PM MST. For information on BIDS registration go to www.gssa.state.co.us. Proposals must be submitted in response to Request for Proposal Number CDPHE-RO-HAZ0502. Late proposals will not be accepted.
