Description
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is soliciting sources for a Service and Rental Agreement for Emergency Central Chiller and Diesel Generator. Supplier shall include a 400 ton self contained mobile trailored cooling chiller unit with onboard generator system and fuel tank to support its operation independent from facility utilities. The trailored unit shall be parked in the driveway next to the building external the chiller water piping connections. Supplier must provide total installation and hook-up to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing existing flanges on outside of the building, provide electrical interface with existing pump motor controls, supply all materials, and provide delivery and removal of system when necessary. Quantity: 1 ea. This Service and Rental Agreement is for base year plus four (4) one year options. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business (see numbered note 1). The applicable North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code 333415, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The request for quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-05-0033. Delivery shall be made within 30 days after receipt of purchase order. Deliver terms are F.O.B. Destination to Bureau of Engraving & Printing, 14th and C Street S W, Washington D C 20228. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be price. All interested small business is requested to submit a written quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Quotation may be submitted on a SF1449, SF18 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number. DUNS numbers, size status (that is small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). If this item is available under GSA Schedule, please provide the schedule number. Quotations are due by 2:30 P.M. on October 13, 2004.
