- Description
- NAVAIR Lakehurst intends to issue under Foreign Military Sales Case SP-P-BMZ, a sole source procurement to GE Structured Services of Mt. Laurel, NJ to procure one (1) each of an Inlet Engine Nozzle (P/N 21C8501G01) used to maintain and repair the F404 engines on the F/A-18 aircraft for the Spanish Air Force. The Government intends to procure these items under Title 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c ) (1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. GE Structured Services is the only known source that possesses the unique experience, technical data, and expertise needed to fulfill the government?s requirement. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See numbered notes 22.
