Description

The VA National Acquisition Center will issue a request for proposal (RFP) for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Defense (DoD), Indian Health Service (IHS), and the Bureau of Prison (BoP) requirements for ENALAPRIL MALEATE Tablets. This will be a Small Business Set-a-Side Procurement. Enalapril Maleate Tablets have the established annual usage as follows: 10mg/100s=120,234 bottles, 10mg/1000s=4,882 bottles, 2.5mg/100s=36,557 bottles, 2.5mg/1000s=764 bottles, 20mg/100s=288,131 bottles, 20mg/1000s=8,513 bottles, 5mg/100s=54,121 bottles, 5mg/1000s=3,984 bottles. The estimated quantities listed above are for VA, DOD, IHS, and BOP. The contract period will be for one year plus four one-year options to extend. The contract items will be distributed through the VA and DOD Pharmaceutical Prime Vendors (PPV). Offerors must provide bar code labeling which includes at a minimum the NDC number. Tablets must be compatible with automatic dispensing units (Baxter ATC Canisters, Optifil, etc) and if the offeror is not a manufacturer, a signed agreement between the offeror and the manufacturer must be submitted with the offer and remain in effect for the duration of the contract period including the option years. Glass bottles are not acceptable. The solicitation will be available for downloading, on or about the issue date of 10/15/04 from the VA Office of Acquisition and Material Management?s (O&AMM) internet website at http://www.va.gov/o&amm/busopp/sols.htm.
