- THIS SOLICITATION IS EXTENDED TO CLOSE OF BUSINESS (4:30 PM) ON OCTOBER 8, 2004. Construct and install cable guided boarding float system at the Loon Lake Boat Ramp. System is to include three (3) floats and gangplank. Government Estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. There is a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting at the Loon Lake Boat Ramp. Date: September 21, 2004 Time: 10:00 am Directions are as follows: The project is located in the Crystal Basin Recreation Area off the Ice Hourse Road (Forest Route 3) in El Dorado County, California. To reach the project site from Placerville, travel east approximately 25 miles on Highway 50 to Riverton. Turn north on Ice House Road (Route 3) and travel approximately 30 miles north to the Loon Lake Road (14N01). Travel east approximately 6 miles on the Loon Lake Road to the Loon Lake Campground, and turn right. Proceed about 1/4 mile to the Loon Lake Boat Ramp parking area. The solicitation package is expected to be posted at this site on September 10, 2004.
