- Notice of intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for 5-Ton Cryogenic Plant Parts, to Cosmodyne, LLC. 35 CONS intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1(a)(2). A determination not to compete this proposed procurement was made because Cosmodyne, LLC is the manufacturer of this equipment and patent holder. This is combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-24 (as of 18 Jun 04). This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
