- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items: ITEM 0001- Vehicles required for IG Team for 82 TRW ORI: Request 85 Mid-Size Sedans be delivered to South Ramp at Randolph AFB, TX no later than 1200 hrs, 15 Oct. 2004. Vehicles are to be delivered with full gas tank and will be returned with a full gas tank. Any vehicle returned without a full gas tank will be charged at end of contract. Unlimited mileage within the State of Texas. Insurance is not required since Government is Self-Insured. Replacement vehicle to be provided within 1 hour should a mechanical problem occur with any of the vehicles. Period: 15 Oct 04 - 31 Oct 04. ITEM 0002- Vehicles required for IG Team for 80 FTW ORI: Request 15 Mid-Size Sedans be delivered to South Ramp at Randolph AFB, TX no later than 1200 hrs, 22 Oct. 2004. Vehicles are to be delivered with full gas tank and will be returned with a full gas tank. Any vehicle returned without a full gas tank will be charged at end of contract. Unlimited mileage within the State of Texas. Insurance is not required since Government is Self-Insured. Replacement vehicle to be provided within 1 hour should a mechanical problem occur with any of the vehicles. Period: 22 Oct 04 - 31 Oct 04 ALL VEHICLES MUST BE PROVIDED BY ONE SOURCE. FOB: Destination for delivery to South Ramp at Randolph AFB, San Antonio TX. This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ F73LGS42710100. IAW FAR 252.204-7004,all firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition, all listed by reference in accordance with FAR 52.252-2, Clauses Incorporated by Reference; FAR 52.252-1 Solicitation Provisions Included by Reference(http://farsite.hill.af.mil/vffara.htm) : The provision at FAR 52.247-37 FOB Destination The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The provision at FAR 52.212-3 Alt. 1, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal. The clause at FAR 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Specifically, the following clauses cited are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.222-21, Prohibition of Segregated Facilities FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity FAR 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities FAR 52.222-19, Child Labor-Cooperation with Authorities and Remedies FAR 52.225-13, Restrictions on Certain Foreign Purchases FAR 52.232-33, Payment by EFT ? CCR The clause at FAR 52.232-18, Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government?s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Office for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. The clause at DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Specifically, the following clauses, cited are applicable to this solicitation: DFARS 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program (APR 2003) (41 U.S.C. 10a-10d, E.O. 10582). DFARS 252.232-7003, Electronic Submission of Payment Requests The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.224-1, Privacy Act Notification and FAR 52.224-2, Privacy Act, applies to this solicitation. The Government reserves the right to award on a multiple award or an all or none basis. Submission of a quote does not obligate the government to make an award.
