Description

The HQ Air Intelligence Agency Contracting Division at Lackland AFB (Kelly Annex), TX intends to award a Purchase Order to SIRSI Corporation, 101 Washington Street SE, Huntsville, ALA 35801-4827 on a SOLE SOURCE BASIS (due to proprietary information, which is protected by copyright laws), pursuant to FAR 13.5, for Software Maintenance. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and Other Than Full and Open Competition in accordance with (10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1)) (SOLE SOURCE) FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(i). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented, with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued (subject to the availability of funds IAW FAR 52.232-19 entitled ?Availability of funds for next Fiscal Year?),as requested for quotation (RFQ) #PRF5453B4223190. This solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24, Effective 19 Jul 04. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code associated with this acquisition is 423430. The Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program does not apply to this acquisition. Headquarters Air Intelligence Agency requires the following: CLIN 0001, Annual SW Maintenance-Model II (October 1, 2004 ? September 30, 2005), Part Number (NA), Quantity required is One (1) each. CLIN 0002, Annual SW Maintenance-Model II (October 1, 2004 ? September 30, 2005), Part Number (NA), Quantity required is One (1) each. CLIN 0003, Annual SW Maintenance-Model I (October 1, 2004 ? September 30, 2005), Part Number (NA), Quantity required is One (1) each. CLIN 0004, Annual SW Maintenance-Hyper B (October 1, 2004 ? September 30, 2005), Part Number (NA), Quantity required is One (1) each. CLIN 0005, Annual SW Maintenance-Hyper C, Part Number (NA), Quantity required is One (1) each. CLIN 0006, Annual SW Maintenance-Hyper II (February 27, 2005 ? September 30, 2005), Part Number (NA), Quantity required is One (1) each. Delivery: FOB Destination. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The simplified acquisition procedures of FAR 13 will apply to this acquisition. Quotations shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR 13.602--Evaluation of Quotations or Offers. The contracting officer shall evaluate quotations inclusive of transportation charges from the shipping point of the supplier to the delivery destination. Quotations shall be evaluated on the basis of the price of the quoted brand name product, low price being preferred. All quotations or offers quoting the aforementioned item shall be considered.
