- Provide Architectural and Engineering services to EXPAND CARDIAC CARE at the VA Western New York Healthcare System, Buffalo, NY. Work includes, but is not limited to, the relocation of the Cardiac Rehab Center from Ward 3D to Ward 4 Core, involving a new roof, windows, flooring, electrical feed, and HVAC, for a patient treatment area that is presently an open porch area. Work may also include renovation of the vacated area for expansion of the existing physical therapy unit. NOTE: This acquisition is limited to firms located within a 30-mile radius of the Buffalo facility. Otherwise, this acquisition is unrestricted, meaning any firm can apply, regardless of business size. NAICS Code 541310 (Building architectural design services) applies. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated to be awarded. The estimated construction cost for this project is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. This is not a request for proposal. Proper submission of SF 254 and SF 255 is to be received by the Contracting Officer no later than 3:00pm on 10/25/04. See Government Notes 24 and 25 for additional information.
