- The Department of Defense, TRICARE Management Activity, Aurora, CO, intends to issue a solicitation for the Health Care Technology Assessment Services for vendors who offer technology assessments and evaluations for new emerging health care technologies, to include medical devices focusing on the technology?s safety, effectiveness and health of available scientific literature, published medical literature, and expert medical opinion, and opinions of practicing medical and specialty societies. The proposed contract will be for a Base period of 12 months with four one-year option periods. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15 will be used for this acquisition. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered for award. This requirement is unrestricted. In accordance with FAR 5.102 (a)(1) the solicitation will be available electronically on the TMA website at http://www.tricare.osd.mil/contracting/healthcare/solicitations/ - Paper copies will not be available.
