- NASA/JSC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the following Commercial item/services: On-site Vehicle Repair and Maintenance of approximately 137 GSA-Owned Vehicles assigned to NASA JSC White Sands Test Facility. Repair and Maintenance details will be included in the Solicitation. Below is a listing of the various vehicles that encompass the White Sands Test Facility vehicle fleet. Sedan Ambulance/Patient Transport Vehicle 1/2 Ton Truck (4x2) 3/4 Ton Truck (4x2) 1 Ton Truck (4x2) 1/2 Ton Truck (4x4) 3/4 Ton Truck (4x4) 1 Ton Truck (4x4) Medium-to-Heavy Duty Truck This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 811191 and $6,000,000, respectively. The anticipated release date of RFP NNJ04073970R is on or about 09/30/2004 with an anticipated proposal due date of on or about 11/01/2004. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the NASA/JSC Business Opportunities page is http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=D&pin=73 Prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
