Description
BASEWIDE HOODS AND DUCTS CLEANING Solicitation FA8601-04-T-0180 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Quotes are due to the Government NO LATER THAN 4:00 PM EST on 23 Sep 2004.The Operational Contracting Branch(88 CONS/PKSA)of the Aeronautical Systems Center would like to procure inspection and cleaning of the hoods, ducts, filters and exhaust fans from point of entry to the point of departure at the base restaurants, canteens and Medical Center. Interested parties shall submit their quotes by email to Barbara P. Jemmott of the Operational Contracting Branch (88 CONS/PKSA)of the Aeronautical Systems Center at barbara.jemmott@wpafb.af.mil or FAX to Barbara P. Jemmott at 88 CONS/PKSA, 1940 Allbrook Dr., Rm. 109, Ste. 3, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, 45433, FAX:(937) 257-3926. Please include cover sheet which should annotate the number of pages to be expected. Offerors shall make clear that their quotes are valid for a period of no less than 45 days. Period of Performance is 1 Oct 2004 ? 30 Sep 2005, for the base year with four one year Options. The Government reserves the right not to make any award. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This combined synopsis/solicitation will be the only announcement regarding this acquisition. The NAICS Code is 561790 and the size standard is $6,000,000. This acquisition is 100% SET A-SIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS, 52.219-6 Notice of Small Business Set A-Side. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24 effective 19 Jul 2004 and Class Deviation 2004-.0001. A Firm Fixed Price is anticipated for all tools, management, supplies, equipment, and labor that is necessary to ensure that hoods, ducts, filters, and exhaust fan systems cleaning is performed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in a manner that will ensure continuous and safe operation in accordance with the Statement of Work. A completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items, must be submitted with the offer. The clause at FAR 52.237-1, Site Visit, applies to this acquisition. Site visit is planned for 21 Sep 2004 at 9:00 AM.
