- Description
- The requirement is for Janitorial services at the U.S. Coast Guard Training Center, Child Development Center, Cape May, New Jersey. The successful offeror shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, supplies, supervision etc. necessary to perform the required services. The proposed contract action is 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry Classification Code is 561720 with a size standard of $14 million. The period of performance will be from 01 October 2004 through 30 September 2005. There will be two (2), one-year option periods, if all options are exercised, the contract term will end on 30 September 2007. Magnitude of procurement, base plus option years is $25,000 to $100,000. Services will be procured using procedures in FAR part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Any correspondence concerning this acquisition shall reference Request for Quote (RFQ) Number HSCG42-04-Q-QNFD23. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be available electronically by accessing http://www.eps.gov on or about 2 August 2004 and close on or about 31 August 2004. All interested and capable small business firms are encouraged to download a copy of the solicitation and supporting documents from FedBizOpps electronic posting system at www.eps.gov under Vendor, DHS-DR, United States Coast Guard, Commanding Officer (fcp) Training Center Cape May, NJ. All vendors will be responsible for obtaining any amendments from that site. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be issued. All eligible firms may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the agency. Telephone, written, or e-mail requests for a hard copy of the solicitation will not be accepted, the solicitation must be downloaded from the EPS web site. This is a first time acquisition; therefore, no previous contract information is available. A guided, scheduled site visit is planned; detailed information concerning the site visit (date/time/points of contact) will be included in the solicitation.
