- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemental with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposal are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This solicitation documentation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-32. The Library of Congress intends to award on an Other than Full and Open Competation contract to Iimage Retrieval, 3620 N Josey Lane, Carrollton, TX 75007. The requirement is to purchase the following equipment: (1 each) I2S AO/E 10000BW SupraScan Archival Book Scanner to include: large 34x44 in B&W or 8 bit gray scale, lens, with version 2 lighting PC interface (monitor not included), 30 cm Book Cradle for books 11.8 deep & 66 pounds or less, Book Restorer Software, after process enhancement and publishing work software - single user version & 1 year support: (1 each) Freight, insurance, customs and delivery: (3 day) HRI Training Class - on-site installation; (1 each) Travel and Lodging Expenses - per diem (must be GSA domestic rate in accordance with FAR); (1 year) includes 1 year part and labor; (1 each) HRI Technical Service Agreement (authorized I2S Service, Training, Installation and Support Center for I2S in US. The following provision apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1 Instruction to Offeror-Commercial Item; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items (under this clauses have been modified by the Library of Congress; 52.233-1 Disputes; 52.232-25 Prompt Payment. These clauses shall be available upon written request. Offerors shall include a complete copy of this provisions at 52.212-3 Offeror Representation and Certifications - Commercial Item, with its offer. Proposal shall be submitted by fax or email on company letterhead to 202-707-8611, adoz@loc.gov NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 22, 2004.
