- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to award an existing option (Option 4) of NSWCDD contract N00178-02-C-1004 for the procurement of MK281 (BA12) 40MM Target Practice Cartridges to NICO-PPYROTECHNIK GMBH, Postfach 1227, 22943 Trittau, Germany. The anticipated award is for an approximate quantity of 400,896 Full Rate Production rounds, which represents a priced option, but exceeds the funding authority that currently exists under the contract. Award date is estimated i! n mid November 2004.
