Description

The work consists of dredging approximately 2,500,000 cubic yards of maintenance material to be dredged from a deep draft 47 to 51-foot channel, using a pipeline dredge. Levees to be raised and repairs and maintenance to Drop-Outlet Structures. The estimated cost range for this project is between $5 million and $10 million. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard is $17 million. The Galveston District's Subcontracting goals are: Small Business - 40.4%; Small Disadvantaged Business - 16.0%; Woman-Owned Small Business - 5.6%; Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business - 3.0%; Hubzone Small Business - 3.0%. Bid Opening will be held in Room 175. The plans and specifications will only be available via our website, on the issue date. It is the contractor's responsibility to register on the website, to download plans and specs, and to check daily for any posted changes to this solicitation, at: www.swg.usace. army.mil/ct. Notification of amendments shall be made through paper or the Internet. However, the Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation.
