- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F43HSJ42100200, Request for Quotation. The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-26. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 238190, Other Foundation, Structure and Building Exterior Contractors- - Index: Entry Awning Installation. The size standard is <$12M. This procurement is set-aside for small business in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. DESCRIPTION: This solicitation is for the potential contractor to provide all labor, tools, and materials necessary to manufacture and install one custom A Frame canopy to span between two buildings located at MacDill AFB. The canopy measurement is approx 71?-0? long on the road side and 53?-0 long on the parking lot side x 25?-0? wide at bldg 1 and 33?0? wide at bldg 2 x 4?-0? drop with 2?-0? rigid valance. Twelve (12) 4? square posts mounted to the concrete with floor plates shall support the canopy. The frame and post shall be painted bronze. Color Fabric shall be Weblon CP Eggshell or neutral in color. A site visit will be conducted on 22 September 2004 and is highly recommended, call Mr. Clyde Burford @ 813-828 3965 for scheduling.
