- The VA Northern Indiana Health Care System (NIHCS), Fort Wayne, IN is entering into negotiations with the American Red Cross, 1212 E California Road, Fort Wayne, IN. All interested parties are requested to give written notification NLT September 30, 2004, including all pertinent data (descriptive literature, specifications, etc). Send information to VA NIHCS, Contracting Officer (90C), 2121 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805. The proposed contract action is for requirements of blood and blood components for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. The determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement.
