Description

The VA Medical Center, Butler, PA intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Logical Automation, Inc. of West Homestead, PA, to provide hardware, software, and training services to upgrade the existing automatic temperature control system at this facility. To the best of our knowledge, Logical Automation, Inc. is the only vendor that can provide this specific type of upgrades and training services to the existing licensed software automatic temperature controls. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notice to the Contracting Officer (101), VA Medical Center, 325 New Castle Rd., Butler, PA 16001, on or before September 27, 2004, 12:00 P.M. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the VA Medical Center, Butler, PA will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Logical Automation.
