Description
MT PRA-GLAC 10(20), GOING TO THE SUN ROAD WALL REPAIR, PHASE V, Glacier National Park, Flathead County, Montana. THIS SOLICITATION IS OFFERED FOR FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS. THIS WORK CONSISTS OF: 0.509 km of rock bolting, shotcrete, drainage, guardwalls, retaining walls, and a 30 minute traffic delay to be shared with another contractor in the area. THE PROJECT INCLUDES construction survey & staking; contractor sampling & testing; soil erosion control devises: 450 m silt fence, 17 m Temp culv. Pipe, 20m Div channel, 1320 m Watering for Dust Control; Removal of structures and obstructions: 1 each Pipe culvert, 27 each individual boulders, 120 m Stone masonry guardwall, 5 m2 headwalls, and 1960 m2 asphalt pavement; 1220 m3 Structure evacuation; 13 m3 Class 4 riprap; 190 t Class 2 riprap; 330 m2 Reinforced concrete retaining walls; 320 m2 Rockery wall; 930 t Minor Crushed Aggregate; 335 t Minor Hot Asphalt Concrete; 14 m precast reinf. Box culvert (1800 mm span x 1200 mm rise); 1 each Inlet top, Type G-2; 310 m2 Geocomposite sheet drain system; 12 m3 Shotcrete, fiber reinforced; 16 m Stone masonry guardwall, type 1; 140 m Stone masonry guardwall, type 2; 22 m Remove and reset stone masonry; 350 m2 Stone masonry wall veneer; 3.5 m2 Stone masonry wall; 40 m2 Stone masonry wall headwalls; 160 m3 topsoil(landscaping and related items); Permanent Traffic Control Devices: 2 m2 Sign installation;12 each Snow pole holders; 1000 m pavement markings, type B, solid yellow; 510 m Pavement markings, type B, solid white; 20 Barricade, type 1; 5 each Barricade type III, 2.4 m rail length; 80 each Cones; 78 m2 Const. Sign; 20 each Drum type 1 meter; 1850 m Temp. Concrete Barrier; 330.0 m Temp. Pavement markings; 42 each warning lights; 1 each Temp. traffic signal system; 220 m Temp. fence; 180 days Supervisor; 6170 Flagger Hours; 2 each Portable toilets; 75 m Rock bolts, and other smaller items of work. PROJECT IS LOCATED approximately 65 km Northeast of Columbia Falls, Montana. Work shall be completed by September 27, 2005. Estimated PRICE RANGE is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. DOTs Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $750,000 with interest at prime rate, as published daily in the Wall Street Journal, plus 1.75 percent.
