- The Federal Bureau of Priosns is seeking concerns having the ability for providing residential Community Corrections Center (CCC) services fo rmale and female Federal offenders in Cameron County, Texas. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prions' Statement of Work entitled, "Community Corrections Center (CCC), dated August 2000, Revision 1 - December 2000, Revision 2 - August 2001, Revision 3 - November 2001, Revision 4 - May 2002, Revision 5 - October 2003 as revised by the Houston CCM office, Revision - May 2004." An indefinite delivery requirements type contract with a two year base period and three one-year options is anticipated. The estimated number of inmate days for the base period is 47,450; Option Year 1 is 25,620, Option Year 2 and Option Year 3 are 25,500 inmate days, respectively. The solicitation will be available on or about October 15, 2004, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of RFP 200-0838-SC will be on or about December 14, 2004. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations have the right to submit offers/bids/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone requests or written requests for solicitations will be accepted.
