NA Synopsis: A firm fixed-price three-year requirements contract is anticipated for the following items in support of the M17A3 Decontamination Apparatus: Valve, Regulating; NSN: 4820-01-288-6739; P/N: 5-45-5166 Valve, Check; NSN: 4820-01-291-2364; P/N: 5-45-5167 Valve, Regulating System Pressure; Body material is bronze; Overall length is 5.88 IN: First connection face to centerline distance 2.0 IN; Second connection face to centerline distance 1.630 IN; First end thread size and series/type designator ?-14 NPT R ight Hand; Second end thread size and series/type designator ?-14 NPT Right Hand; Special features: By-pass pressure setting preset at 100 PSI: Exterior resistant to environmental effects and alkaline fluids and chemicals. Valve, Check: Connection type: Threaded internal pipe; Media for which designed: Water, Fresh; Special features: Threaded both ends 1.00 BSP Female; 2.0 IN; DIA: 2.656 IN. LG: Ext and Int constructed to resist alkaline fluids and chemicals. Int and Int pa rts shall not rust or corrode when exposed to ethylene glycol mixtures (full strength); Arrow clearly marked to indicate direction of fluid flow. Both items are a source control drawing and must be procured from an approved source of supply provided on the government technical data package and/or their distributors. This solicitation will be an unrestricted action. Military packaging is required. FOB is destination. First Article Test is not required. The approximate issue date will be Sep 30, 2004 with an approximate response date of Nov 01, 2004.
