- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is set-aside for small business only. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 327212, Size Standard 750. Solicitation/Purchase Request number F1GPL142370500 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2001-24, Effective 19 Jul 2004. The Government intends to award a contract for the following line items or equal: (CLIN 0001) Laser Module 50mW with no tuning, center wavelength at 1550nm, pump and electronic control. Very narrow linewidth (long coherent length) 1 EA, (CLIN 0002) Power supply 1 EA, FOB: DESTINATION. Inspection and acceptance: DESTINATION. The following provisions and clauses apply to this procurement: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; 52.211-6 in accordance with the FAR 13.106-1(a)(2) offerors are notified that award will be made on the basis of price. Offeror will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 13.106-2. FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items.
