- Description
- This notification represents formal public announcement of the performance decision on the standard competition for the commercial activity functions at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) identified as Animal Care Services. The study was conducted in accordance with revised OMB Circular A-76 dated May 29, 2003. Under this standard method of competition, the Agency's cost of performing these services was compared against the cost of these services in the private sector as proposed under this solicitation. Two private sector proposals were received for this solicitation in addition to the CDC Agency Tender and after evaluation of the proposals, the results indicate that the Agency is the low-cost provider. The total cost of Agency performance is $5,172,993. The 10 percent conversion differential and other applicable adjustments were made to private sector costs on the Standard Competition Form in accordance with the requirements of OMB Circular A-76. Release of information on this study will be conducted in accordance with Attachment B Section D.6.e of the A-76 Circular.
