Description

The DODEA Pacific Procurement Division intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Kloppenburg Enterprises located at PO Box 6098 Tamuning, Guam 96931 for services necessary to purchase and install school bus air conditioner units in approximatly 25 DODEA Guam school buses. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price contract. Negotiations being conducted using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of FAR 19.1306, HUBZone Sole Source Awards. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 19.1306. This requirement is not currently funded and is held "subject to the availability of funds". Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within ten (10) days after date of publication of this synopsis submited by a responsible, certified HUBZone contractor currently capable of performing these services in the territory of Guam. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in proposal preparation. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive HUBZone procurement. All responsible certified HUBZone sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. The DODEA Procurement Division intends to award a sole source contract ten (10) days after publication of this notice.
