- Description
- This procurement is for direct sea support for search and recovery for subscale drone targets and related equipment including scuba diving capability. Patrol subscale/full scale drone launch areas (inside and outside bay areas) against penetration of unauthorized vessels and personnel. Provide waterborne support for testing, investigation and recovery of DOD assets floating or submerged in adjacent Gulf waters within a radius of 200 nautical miles from Panama City Sea buoy. Provide maintenance upkeep for three 120 foot missile retrievers, two 25 foot launch corridor boats, three 13 foot dive craft and one work raft. Provide scheduled shipyard level haulout maintenance for three 120 foot missile retrievers. Provide radio operations and video coverage during subscale/full scale target missions. Provide facility and grounds upkeep for two facility areas. Perform supply functions and maintain files relative to the facilities and watercraft mission IAW specifications and attachments identified in the solicitation. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated. This action will be a small business set aside. The contract will be written for a basic period of up to 1 year plus 4 option years. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 488330 with a small business size standard of $6,000,000.00. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 4 Jun 2004 on the Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
