- This solicitation is REISSUED AS FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. The original announcment was posted from 13 August through 23 August 2004 under the same solicitation number. The solicitation number is FA8601-04-T-0151, is issued as a Combined Synopsis and Solicitation. QUOTATIONS AND RESPONSES DUE NOON (Eastern Standard Time), TUESDAY, 14 SEPTEMBER 2004, to the point of contact identified at the end of this notice. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334515; Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 3825; Size standard is 500 employees; and Federal Supply Code (FSC) is 6625. This RFQ is being conducted as a commercial item procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13). No paper copies of this solicitation will be provided. The proposed contract is for the purchase of: One Each Fuel System that meet the minimum requirements as described in Attachment 1. The government intends to award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible quoter whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. To demonstrate full understanding of the Government+s requirement, quotes may include a capabilities summary, product information, or other descriptive literature to demonstrate the capability and performance of the offered product. A copy of FAR Clause 52.212-3, Contractor Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items, shall be completed and submitted with quotation. This is a firm-fixed price purchase. Contract financing will NOT be provided for this acquisition. Contractor must be registered in CCR prior to award. The Government will make an award from this request for quotation to the responsible quoter whose quote will be most advantageous to the Government. The Government reserves the right to not make an award at all. By submission of a quote, the quoter acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation.
