- Description
- The Technical Applications Contracting Office at Ft Eustis, VA proposes to acquire an Ultra High Frequency (UHF) Power Amplifier to support a full range of UHF SATCONM, 5kHz and 25 kHz DAMA and 25 kHz non-DAMA radios operating in the 225 MHz to 400 MHz frequency ranges. To include support for both boice and data communications to include thoughputs of MIL-STD-188-181B and other higher data rate systems. The unit will be a rugged, JTIC certified, environmentally sealed unit desinged to provide reliable operations for use on the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne SOAR (A)) aircraft: MH-47s, MH-60s and H-6s. A minimum of 39 units will be purchased, with the following estimated quantities: FY05 (39 units), FY06 (41 units), FY06 (38 units), FY08 (31 units), and FY09 (15 units) with deliveries to Lexington, KY.
