Description
The EPA's Office of Environmental Information (OEI) is soliciting proposals for an advisory and assistance contract to provide a full and complete range of advisory and assistance services with emphasis on the provision of information technology (IT) and information management (IM) policy, planning, and program management (PPM) support, services, and solutions. This includes provision of advisory and assistance services to support or improve IT and IM planning, security, investment management, and enterprise architecture functions. This contract will also serve as a primary source for IT and IM technical, management, and expert advice and assistance for OEI. Within OEI, this contract will be the prime source for IT policy, planning and analytical support for the Office of Technology Operations and Planning (OTOP). The contract will also support the Agency's National Programs, Administrative and Regional Offices, and OEI customers and partners. It is anticipated that an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract will be issued with a period of nine years, assuming all options exercised. EPA plans to make multiple awards under this solicitation, with at least one award planned to be a small business set aside.. The NAICS code for this effort is 541519. The solicitation is expected to be released on or about 10/08/2004. Proposals will be due approximately 30 days following the issuance of the final solicitation. The solicitation and other related information will be available via the Internet at http://www.epa.gov/oamhpod1/adm_placement/prhq10097/index.htm. Prospective offerors are to monitor the Internet site for the status of the solicitation and shall download the solicitation from the Internet site as hardcopies of the solicitation will not be provided. Should difficulties be encountered downloading the solicitation, the Contracting Officer may be contacted and alternate arrangements will be made to provide an electronic copy of the solicitation.
