- Description
- The Internal Revenue Service intent to purchase the Shunra WAN/LAN simulation box. This device is used to test and simulate real world network bandwidth connections and network latency components, network bandwidth problems, latency issues, packet errors, and other IP based problems with the local or wide area network. This equipment can or will be used in support of testing the Active Directory designs, ERAP, Altiris deployment designs, Tivoli deployments, and other network bandwidth intensive testing. The quantity include: (1) STX-102 Shunra/Storm WAN Emulator chassis with (2) 4 ports 10/100 ethermet interface; (1) STA-CTR-10:Storm Catcher, plus MES; (1) Maintenance/Enhancements/Support (MES)?Shunra/Storm WAN Emulator solution; (1) STS-EPT Pack of 10 endpoints, plus MES. Responsible parties that can provide the above requirement shall submit a written quotation of interest and capability by 12:00 noon EST on the date specified, September 13, 2004 and must be technically acceptable to the government. No solicitation will be issued, therefore, such request for solicitation will be considered non responsive. All quotes shall include FOB point, point of contact (name and telephone numbers), GSA Contract Number if applicable, business size and payment terms. All questions shall be submitted in writing.
