Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE), New Jersey intends to procure parts that are manufactured by Rolls-Royce of Bristol England. These parts are in support of the AV8-B program. The support equipment (SE) is defined as the following: New Inspection Fixture, P/N S3S92495000; New Master Blade Kit, P/N S3S92496000; New Mass Moment Weighting Kit, P/N S3S18533000, all part numbers are for a quantity of three (3) each. These part numbers are in response to an Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) 3837 from Rolls Royce. This support equipment is to support the engines that power the AV8B Harrier aircraft for domestic and foreign requirements. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to procure the above listed items via a firm fixed-price contract. Any firms that recognize and can produce the required items are encouraged to identify themselves. The Government does not hold any proprietary rights to any drawings or data. NAWCADLKE intends to procure this item under the authority of 10USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation package is available for this procurement. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
