- Description
- This synopsis is being issued by GovWorks under the franchise authority of the Department of the Interior (DOI) on behalf of the U.S. Border Patrol. This procurement is being conducted under the Test Program for Certain Commercial Items (FAR 13.5). GovWorks/DOI intends to award a commercial Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, for BAE LTC 500 and LTC 550 brand name or equal repair parts. As used in this solicitation, the term brand name includes identification of products by make and model. Such identification is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive. If the offeror proposes to furnish an equal product, the brand name and product descriptions to be furnished shall be provided in the proposal, and must be compatible with BAE LTC 500 and LTC550 infrared cameras. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334419 (Other Electronic Component Manufacturing). Request for Proposal (RFP) 37010 is assigned. Delivery of products ordered shall be provided on an FOB destination basis to the US Border Patrol, Albuquerque, NM. The estimated RFP release date is 09/14/04, and will be available via the Internet at http://www.govworks.gov/vendor/csolicit.asp under RFP number 1435-04-04-RP-37010.
