Description

This is a notice of intent of the Center for Health Care Contracting (CHCC) at Fort Sam Houston, Texas to award a purchase order for non-personal services for the U.S. Army Medical Command, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, to Elsevier, Inc., 11380 Westline D rive, Saint Louis, Missouri 63146-3313 to provide Web-based Internet access for selected users to MDConsult's/First Consult's medical news, drug updates and journal abstracts. This is a sole source procurement, the CHCC intends to solicit and negotiate o nly with Elsevier, Inc., under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c)(1). This is a commercial item procurement and FAR Part 12 will be used. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers. However, all responsible offers will be con sidered. Award will be made on or about 24 September 2004. The North American Industrial Code System (NAICS) is 518111 and the size standard is $21 Million.
