Description

This is a resolicitation of solicitation W912HY-04-T-0101. This synopsis for Request for Quote Number W912HY-04-T-0102 for Repairs to Survey Vessel Tanner. This Quote is set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classificatio n System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 336611. Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 people. The work consists of the contractor furnishing all plant, labor, materials, and equipment to make repairs to the Survey Vessel Tanner as described in the St atement of Work (SOW). Contract award will be made to the contractor whose price, past performance, experience, and Government costs for contract quality assurance (QA) provide the best value to the Government. QA costs will include Per Diem, transportatio n charges, and Government employee salary. The contractor will be responsible for the cost of transporting the boat from it's duty station at Fort Point, Galveston, Texas, to the location where the work will be done, and repairs have been satisfactorily co mpleted, returning the boat to Fort Point, Galveston, Texas. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price Purchase Order as a result of this announcement. Signed and dated quotations are due by 23 September 2004, 2:00 P.M. Central Time.
