Description
The intent of this sources sought synopsis is to identify potential offerors capable and interested in providing erosion control and shoreline protection at the Yorkshire Center at Falls Lake, North Carolina. The project is programmed within the nex t six (6) months and the basic performance period of any resultant contract is expected to be ninety (90) calendar days. The work involves grading of an eroded lake bank and providing an articulated concrete block slope protection along about 300 feet of shoreline. Work also includes construction of a segmental block retaining wall, planting, seeding and other related work. Input to this sources sought announcement will aid the government in determining whether or not the requirement will be set-aside for small or hub-zone businesses. All interested parties (large and small businesses) are encouraged to submit a capability s tatement. Responses should include previous experience performing similar work, and other qualification information. Interested parties submitting a capability statement in response to this sources sought are required to provide their organizations size status and any Small business Administration certifications (e.g., Small Disadvantaged Business, HUBZone, etc.). The response must also include the organizations name, address, point of contact, and telephone number. Responses are due not later than 1500, Tuesday, 05 October 2004 and may be sent by FAX, electronically or paper copy to Contracting Officer John.B.Roberts@saw02.usace.army.mil or Paula.E.Pier@saw02.usace.army.mil, FAX (910) 251-4454.
