- This acquisition is for two Jet Refuelers for the Wisconsin Army National Guard (WIARNG). The Jet Refuelers must include as a minimum the following specifications: Vehicle - Automatic Transmission, Diesel Engine or Multi-fuel (JP-8), Single Rear Axl e, Cap 30,000 lbs minimum, Cab Heater / Air Conditioner / Defrost, Cab lights (Dome and Map Lights), Under side cabinets with locking doors, Chock block holders, Air brakes, Cold starting assist (glow plugs, starting fluid), 12 Volt starting system, Fire e xtinguisher mounts (3 total) one on each side, one in cab, Side flood lights, flashing beacon light, Air ride seats, AM-FM radio, Power steering, power brakes, Placard holders (front and sides); Tank - 3,000 gal baffled tank (aluminum), 20 inch diameter ma nhole, Vented, Emergency shut off valve, High fuel limit shut-off, 600 gpm fill valve w/D-1 hook-up for fill and recirculation, Mounted ladder on tank or way to climb to top of tank, Measuring device on tank to tell how much fuel on hand by gallons; Pump - 300 gpm, Fuel testing probe hook-up (sample connector after filter separator), PTO driven, Capable of de-fueling, Pump throttle control at rear, Dead man valve air controlled, Filter separator unit w/drain, Line pressure gauge, nozzle pressure gauge and d ifferential gauge, Automatic rewind reel, rear mounted, 1? X 75 hose, Dry disconnects for hose and nozzle, D-1 nozzle w/100 mesh strainer also over the wing (open port) nozzle, Carter closed circuit refueling (CCR) nozzle, 50 to 75 ground static reel, s pring rewind, coated wire w/clips and bayonet plug. Magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Bid opening date will be on or about 27 September 2004. Completion time will be two hundred seventy (270) calendar days from award date. The solicitation will be available 13 September 2004 from the Nationwide NG Posting for Electronic Business Solicitations (EBS) on-line at http://www.nationalguardcontracting.org/Ebs/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp. All requests for solicitations shall go through the EBS website. Interested bidders are required to register on the EBS website to access/download the solicitation.
