- Description
- The work consists of the contractor funishing all labor, material, equipment, supervision, work and facilities to perform all Painting Services at Eielson AFB, Alaska. A generalized description of services required are: application of paints, primers, stains, varnishes and other protective coatings to the interior and exterior of base facilities and to pavements such as roads, runways and parking lots; wallpaper; suitable preparatory cleaning including washing, blasting and scraping; lead-paint abatement; sheetrock repair; caulking and crack filling;mudding and taping; texturing; and application ofprimers and seal coats. Work shall involve entire buildings or portions, tanks, piping, utilidors, and trailer-mounted apparatus. The resultant contract will be firm fixed price requirements contract for a total of five (5) possible, one (1) base year and four (4) option years periods. Actual work requests will be issued on delivery orders base of line item unit prices. NAICS code for this acquisition is 238320 with a size standard of $12 million. This acquisition is restricted 8(a) Competitive only. THIS SOLICITATION IS PAPERLESS AND WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE INTERNET ONLY. This solicitation will be available on 13 Sept 2004. **NOTE: All contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration (CCR) program in order to receive a contract award from any DOD activity.
