NSN: 2915-01-148-0698JF P/N: 9962M11P07 The proposed contract is sole source to PALL AEROPOWER CORP. Noun: Filter, Fluid Item Description: Filter is used with main fuel pump. Filter, fluid, fuel-oil hydrocarbon C42 threaded shell Dimensions: 3.536 inches min 3.546 in. max, 9.7 in nominal aluminum alloy body Applicable to: F101-100 Engine B1B Destination: FB2039 Delivery: October 2005 Estimated Qty: 13 Quantity Ranges will be solicited 6-12, and 13-17 Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do not apply. Qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 24 September 2004. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 25 October 2004. The anticipated award date will be 23 November 2004. Written and electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. Contractors must obtain a copy of the solicitation from the FedBizOpps website. This office no longer mails solicitations. Specifications, plans, or drawings related to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation will identify the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government?s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
